Objectives

  • This course aims to:• Qualify the students to participate in one of these robotics competitions (Robocup / RoboGames /MineSweeper )• Qualify the students build, troubleshoot a robot that does a certain mission.• Qualify the students to choose and use suitable electronics components in a robot that does a certain mission.• Qualify the students to build a complex programming algorithm for a robot.

Outcomes

• Ability to build a robot from scratch that does a certain task• Ability to design a mechanical chassis for a robot that suits a certain task• Ability to build and implement an algorithm for a robot that should have a consistent performance• Ability to troubleshoot a robot during a regional or a local competition• Chance of achieving an advanced place in a local or a regional competition

• Engineering Design Process• Troubleshooting• Complex algorithms testing & debugging• Advanced mechanical designing and testing• Electronic components choosing and testing• Full testing of a local or regional competition mission• Participation in one of these competitions(Robocup / RoboGames / Minesweeper)
