Objectives

  • - Boost the students' knowledge to understand and extract the essential information from short, recorded passages. - Develop students skills in realizing and analyzing the main idea of a detailed text.- Develop Students' skills in planning, drafting, revising, and editing narratives, descriptions, and explanations with attention to composition and style, as well as sentence formation, usage, and mechanics.- Familiarize students to new vocabulary using more professional interesting educational techniques.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Use keywords in the questions to help to answer listening exercises.- Give reasons and examples to support their answers on some reading exercises.- Boost the students' knowledge to understand and extract the essential information from short, recorded passages. - Create paragraphs using information given and support details to summarize accurately.Writing and Speaking topics:- Talk about festivals and celebrations giving reasons and examples to support what they say.- Use speaking cards giving full answers.- Write a letter using indirect questions.- Brainstorming ideas using sentences to write a story.
