Objectives

  • - Develop learners' communicative skills- Familiarize students with short academic passages to produce comprehensible spoken English in group activities and formal presentations- Improve students' development and interaction for the benefit of their language level- Broaden students' abilities for reading, writing, listening and speaking through different activities

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Read a chart and be able to analyze it- Read and understand the gist of basic lexis- Explain student's preference for food and drinks- Listen and answer questions given and make comparisons due to information givenWriting and Speaking topics:- Describing someone; food, likes and dislikes- Write an advertisement - Asking and answering quiz questions easily- Use comparatives and superlatives
