Objectives

• - Use learned strategies to identify the topic, the main idea, and supporting details to interpret short narrative or descriptive passages on familiar topics.- Develop students' abilities in writing proficient and coherent paragraphs.- Familiarize the students with different highly developed syllabus that helps and develop student's four language skills.- Develop students reading, writing and listening skills by demonstrate different conversations , comprehension passages and audio materials.- Provide students with a word bank of terms and vocabulary items.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Identify difference between sentences and choose the right ones based on information given in a listening task.- Identify sentences that explain something related to a reading text.- Understand the text as a whole after reading its main points.- Practice relevant, high-frequency vocabulary in various contextualized exercises.Writing and Speaking topics:- Communicate effectively using some speaking and pronunciation tips.- Write a letter using a broad range of vocabulary.- Write an article about what they prefer using conditional sentences to explain reasons.- Sequencing their ideas before getting involved in a group work speaking task.
