Objectives

• - Expand students' learning skills effectively by teaching critical thinking and formulating their opinion independently through different reading passages.- Develop students' abilities in writing proficient and coherent paragraphs.- Develop students' self-confidence to express his/her ideas and opinions with precision and respond to complex lines of argument after holding a group discussion.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Analyze various authentic reading texts and identify the focus of the clue.- Use linking words to help in placing the sentences correctly.- Listen for specific information and identify differences in what speakers are saying.Writing and Speaking topics:- Write an article using questions.- Write a letter using a broad range of vocabulary.- Report using linking words and conditional sentences.- Holding different discussions using expressions to mark the different stages of speech.
