Objectives

  • - Develop effective communication skills that correspond to the common European framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).- Train students how to use the book's digital format and how to apply the audio programms and listening activities' techniques and games.- Instruct students to read reality texts that include fascinating facts and e-mails.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Make a general prediction about the future and give explanation for choices.- Describe someone's physical appearance and personality.- Use modifying adjectives. - Label maps and match descriptions to pictures.- Explain student's preference for vacation destination.Writing and Speaking topics:- Write a letter describing geographical features and articles with tips on "illness and injury".- Talk for an extended period on any familiar topic with rising and falling intonations in questions.- Make a simple informal presentation to write a personal profile.- Use the real conditional, gerund and infinitives correctly.
