Objectives

• - Develop students reading comprehension skills and increase their vocabulary- Develop the students' abilities to produce meaningful discourse using more complex forms and structures- Familiarize students with short academic passages to produce comprehensible spoken English in group activities and formal presentations

Outcomes

By the end of this course, Students can do the following:Reading and Listening topics:- Read texts in English with comprehension and discuss it- Boost the students' knowledge to understand and extract the essential information from short, recorded passages - Create paragraphs using information given and support details to summarize accurately- Identify new vocabulary through contextual cluesWriting and Speaking topics:- Talk fluently about museums and use words related to it- Write passages using relative clauses- Give Presentations about people around the world - Write postcards using linking words
