Objectives

• The course aims at:•Providing children with the necessary vocabulary words needed to be used in everyday situation. •Helping children to produce clear, well-structured spoken sentences.•Preparing children for the International Exam: Cambridge English Starters (YLE Starters).•Providing material for practice in all areas of the exam.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, children should be able to:•Recognize colours in English.•Answer very simple questions about themselves.•Write short one-word answers to basic questions.

Course Contents

The course uses material which focuses on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing. The course also offers material provides students with an overview of the Starters exam.
