Objectives

  • The course aims at:• Enabling learners to communicate in simple situations, master the basics of English, understand the main ideas of complex text, a wide range of demanding, longer texts and recognize implicit meaning• Providing students with the required knowledge and skills along with necessary vocabulary and grammar lessons which enrich his linguistic competence to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. • Offer them with a comprehensive overview of different writing techniques. • Producing clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices. • Preparing the students for the International Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge English Exams: KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPA• Provide material for practice in all areas of the test.

Outcomes

Course Contents

This course offers students complete, official preparation for the Cambridge English: KEY (KET), Preliminary (PET) and First (FCE). The course combines solid language development with systematic and thorough exam preparation and practice. The course also offers material provides students with an overview of the IELTS and TOEFL exams.
