Objectives

• the course will focus on the Simulation and Modelling System, creating, analysing, and optimizing simulation models. The software that will be used is Dosimis-3.Therefore, this course aims at introducing the discrete event simulation for the representation of discrete stochastic processes. Basic chapters of stochastics are covered as well as the approach to modelling and analysing the logistics systems based on projects from industrial practices. Furthermore, the topic of optimization with simulation techniques will be introduced. Participants will first be confronted with smaller models and later be introduced to the solution of more complex problems
