Course Contents

The course takes a deeper look into the field of strategic foresight theories and methods. The concepts and origins of strategic foresight are explained and reflected. Discussions will focus on understanding how systematic futures thinking enables corporations to set and pursue strategic goals. The course studies the practice of corporate foresight and how it may lead to the identification of opportunities for innovation. The course explores the processes and conditions that may enable (or impede) contemporary organizations to capture value from their corporate foresight exercises. Cases will be given so participants can observe the companies’ future strategies, performing strategic foresight analysis.
