The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport hosted the EST tests for American Diploma students. The Academy organized these tests at its branch in Alexandria. These tests are considered an approved alternative to the SAT and ACT exams to qualify students for admission to Egyptian universities. The test is administered electronically using tablet devices under the supervision of the Ministry of Education in 2025.
