Training Session
EmpowerHER project as a key component of a training workshop focused on empowering women in STEM. The first EmpowerHER Training Session was held at the Global Citizenship Youth (GCY) pre-forum workshop within the LCR Forum – 7Th October, 10 a.m. Cairo time.
The EmpowerHER: Women in STEM and Generative AI Workshop successfully brought together women from diverse backgrounds to explore the intersection of STEM education, gender equality, and innovative technologies. Focused on empowering women in STEM careers, the workshop emphasized the role of Generative AI in transforming education and the workplace. Through interactive presentations and case study problem-solving, participants identified real-world challenges, such as gender bias and work-life balance, and developed solutions using AI tools aligned with SDG 5 (Gender Equality). The session also highlighted the importance of mentorship and skills development, encouraging participants to pursue growth opportunities within the EmpowerHER network. The event concluded with a strong call to action, inviting attendees to apply their learnings to support women in STEM within their own communities.
