Project: Research & innovative Development International Offices networking for upscaling research capacities and encouragement of multidisciplinary studies RADIO

Abstract

A Research and Development International Office plays a pivotal role in the global landscape of innovation and societal advancement. It actively contributes to the creation of groundbreaking technologies, medical breakthroughs, and innovative solutions. Such an office can be instrumental in addressing some of the most pressing global challenges, such as climate change and poverty alleviation, through its focused research initiatives. Moreover, it serves as a crucial educational hub, nurturing and shaping the next generation of scientists, researchers, and scholars. RADIO responds to the general objective of the Program to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional, and personal development of people in education. It also supports multilateral partnerships between HEIs in consortium countries. The project responds to the Green Deal priority where the research areas cover environmental issues and climate change. The main added value from the cooperation between the partners in this project is the multi-discipline nature of the project. This collaboration is highly needed to achieve the current education plan. The project aims to address fundamental gaps in multi-discipline directions through establishing research offices, updating digital technology, implementing intensive study programs and workshops, developing capacities for students and staff, creating synergies with business sectors, and promoting inclusive environments. The project will deliver 8 Intellectual Outputs accessible to students, teachers and professional bodies
