An Assistant Lecturer at the Languages Department at College of Language and Communication at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) since October 2008. I work as an English for Specific Purposes (ESP) Lecturer at the different colleges and institutes at AASTMT. I also fulfill the duties of ISO and Academic Coordination of different ESP courses since September 2009. In 2013, I joined Cambridge ESOL Examinations when I became an IELTS Test Chief Invigilator and Clerical Marker of the Listening and Reading tests and in 2014 I became a Speaking Examiner of KET, PET, BEC P, BEC H, FCE and CAE Tests. Throughout the years of my work at AAST, I participated in numerous academic activities including material development, preparing session plans, TOEFL and IELTS tests preparation and administering the Cambridge Placement Test (CPT). I received my BA in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Arts, English Department at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University in Jordan in 2007. My academic record throughout the years of my study is quite impressive. I received my BA with an Excellent grade. I earned my Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics in April 2019 from the joint MA program between Alexandria University and AAST in 2013. I am currently enrolled in the same program to earn my PhD degree Since October 2020. My PhD thesis title is: An Automated Detection of Hate Speech in COVID-19 Related Tweets: A Computational Linguistics Approach. My research interests are quite versatile ranging from SLA, to TEFL, and Applied Linguistics disciplines.
