Certified Business Professional (CBP)

The CBP Professional credential is for professionals who desire to possess the foundation business skills required to support and lead today&rsquos organizations. These foundations skills are required by major institutions and organizations as a measure of competency.

 

Who Should Earn a CBP Certification?

CBP Certification is important for all types of professionals, from career changers, business professionals to college and high school graduates. For career changers, CBP is an excellent way to re-enter the job market because the curriculum covers core business and technology skills. CBP covers industry standards and leading productivity technologies. Career changers are not limited by knowledge of only one business competency.

  • For business professionals, the CBP certification demonstrates knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and leading business and employability skills.
  • For experienced professionals, if an experienced business professional does not already have a widely recognized certification, he or she should earn a certification to show current or potential employers of their skills and expertise.
  • For university/high school/secondary school graduates, CBP certification is made up in their soft skills and hands-on ability of the disadvantaged.

In order to attain the CBP Professional credential, candidates must attend one of the five CBP Professional modules and pass the associated exam, which consist of the following:

  • Leadership                           (2 day Instructor-led course) - Course Outline

  • Sales                                     (2 day Instructor-led course) - Course Outline

  • Customer Service               (2 day Instructor-led course) - Course Outline

  • Business Etiquette             (2 day Instructor-led course) - Course Outline

  • Business Communication (2 day Instructor-led course) - Course Outline
