Dr. Ghoneim earned her PhD degree in Education, Cardiff Metropolitan University, School of Education, April 2018. She has also earned her MA degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the American University in Cairo (AUC). Dr. Ghoneim served as the Head of the Humanities Department from 2019 -2023. She has extensive teaching experience as instructor of a variety of ESP courses and a trainer of novice EFL teachers. She has taken part in supervising several MA dissertations in the fields of education and pedagogy. Dr. Ghoneim's endeavors focus on teaching pedagogy, curriculum design, second language acquisition, assessment and evaluation, and integrating technology into teaching. She has also participated in preparing teaching material for different specializations and taken part in a variety of oral and written assessments.
