o Dr. Moutaz received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 with Excellent grade from Military Technical College. He received his M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering in 1997 from Military Technical College and his Ph.D. in Mechanical engineering in 2002 from Cranfield University, United Kingdom. In 2010, Dr. Moutaz visited North Western Poly Technique University, Xian, China, as a post doctor visitor to study the effect of vibration on the turbine blades. He worked as a head of Faculty Members Affairs Branch, Military Technical college, 2010-2013. In 2013, Dr. Moutaz worked as a head of Naval Engineering department, in the Military Technical College. He participated in the development of the courses of the department with two new Majors. Dr. Moutaz's research in structural analysis of composite materials and vibration using finite element analysis in 2002. He introduced an approach for modeling a composite structure using a new finite element based on height order theory. Dr. Moutaz teaches Mechanics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical Vibration, theory of Machine, Finite Element Method and Robotics and applications. Currently, he is a Professor at the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport. In addition to Post Grad courses titled “Advanced dynamic”. From November 2020, he became the Vice Dean for Education Affair, at AASTMT, Smart Village Campus
