biography

Ammar Mostafa Hassan received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Assiut University, Asyut, Egypt, in 1995 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Minia University, Minya, Egypt, in 2012. He spent two years at Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany. He is currently the Head of the Computer Science Department, Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, South Valley Branch. His research interests include image processing, image hashing, cryptography, automatic/digital control, optimization, Computer Security and image authentication.
