The Arab Academy celebrates the graduation of a new batch of undergraduate students in Alexandria
On Monday, September 26, 2022, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport celebrated the graduation of a new batch (July and September) of Alexandria’s Bachelor’s students in various disciplines “ Maritime Transport and Technology College, Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Faculty of Language and Media” at the Academy’s headquarters in Abu Qir.
The number of graduates reached 364, belonging to the countries (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Nigeria, Djibouti, Yemen, the United States of America).
The graduation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam Daoud, Vice President of the Academy for Maritime Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Bilal, Vice President of the Academy for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohi Al-Din Al-Sayeh, Dean of College of Maritime Transport and Technology, Prof. Dr. Ayman Adel, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Abeer Rifqi, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Media, and a group of diplomatic corps and a number of scientific figures.
The ceremony was also attended by a delegation from the Republic of Iraq consisting of His Excellency Mr. Karim Hattab Jaafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Ali Qais, General Manager of the Iraqi Oil Tankers Company, His Excellency Al Rabban Muhammad Qahtan, Director of the Navigators Department of the Iraqi Oil Tanker Company, and His Excellency Mr. Abdul Karim Jabr, advisor to the Iraqi Oil Tankers Company, to attend the graduation of a number of Iraqi citizens.
