This course provides training to candidates to be duly qualified in accordance with section A-V/1-2, paragraph 1 of the STCW Code with specific duties for loading, unloading and care in transit or handling of liquefied gas The course covers the competence requirements as given in table A-V/1-2-1 of the STCW Code

- Physical and Chemical properties of Gas tanker
- Knowledge and understanding of Gas tanker safety culture and safety management
- Basic knowledge of the hazards associated with Gas tanker operations
- Take precautions to Prevent pollution of the environment from the released Gas
- Contribute to the safe cargo operation of a liquefied gas tanker
- Respond to emergencies
