| Description/Outcomes | This course provides the students with an introduction to psychology. The main focus of study is the impact of acute and chronic disease on the general mental well-being of the patient personally and in terms of his/her social role. Approaches to handle disease-related frustration, anxiety, depression, and social dys are discussed. |
