Description/Outcomes	This course is a part of the “Patient Care Cluster III”. It continues and builds on the foundation laid in Prescription for minor ailments I (PPP335) by prescribing over the counter (OTC) drugs. Through lectures, simulated laboratory activities, case scenarios, and individual student work, the course elaborates on aspects of patient assessment and triage, information retrieval and communication, product distribution, and collaboration with healthcare professionals within the context of providing adequate pharmaceutical care via patient education, therapy planning, and monitoring for additional minor conditions to be handled at the pharmacy level.
