Description/Outcomes	This course is a part of the “Patient Care Cluster II” dealing with the characteristics and use of drugs intended for respiratory, ophthalmic, and neurological disorders. A problem-based learning approach is intended for this course. Through a series of simulated patient cases, this course trains the students to integrate pharmacotherapeutic, biomedical, pharmaceutical, and social and inter-personal knowledge and skills to offer patient-centered care. At this early exposure level, students will be provided with cases representing patients with simple disorders and needs.
arabic Description/Outcomes	هذا المقرر هو جزء من "رعاية المرضي - المجموعة الثانية" في التعامل مع خصائص واستخدام الأدوية المعدة لامراض الجهاز التنفسي، أمراض العيون، والاضطرابات العصبية. ويهدف هذا المقرر الي التعلم عن طريق حل المشكلات. من خلال سلسلة من حالات المرضى المحاكاة، فيدرب هذا المقرر الطلاب على دمج العلاجيات، الطب الحيوي، والمستحضرات الدوائية، والمعرفة الاجتماعية وبين الشخصية والمهارات اللازمة لتقديم الرعاية التي تركز على المريض. على هذا المستوى المبكر، سيتم مد الطلاب بالحالات التي تمثل المرضى الذين يعانون من اضطرابات واحتياجات بسيطة.
