Description/Outcomes | The course aims to develop the students' ability to process advanced career specific English texts. Students are trained to write accurate and effective essays related to the field of Hotels and Tourism. Students' presentation and organization skills are further developed. This course explores students career - specific advanced skills with reference to a variety of text- types related to hotels and tourism. It also aims at developing students' presentation and problem solving skills relevant to the tourism industry. It also introduces hotel reservation terminology and conversation. It presents essays writing, including process analysis. Then, it tackles essay writing cause and effect, classification, and comparison and contrast. It presents vocabulary for traditions, sightseeing and eating out conversations. It introduces vocabulary of special interest tours. It explores the writing of workshops. It presents its composition, presentation and how to grade its presentation. |
