Description/Outcomes This course serves as an introduction to Information Technology and using computers and managing files. It presents general Information Technology concepts. It tackles CPU and input devices. It defines memory, storage and performance and information networks. It also introduces the role of computer in different societies. It overviews the health and safety environment. It introduces the output devices and software. It presents the techniques for data security and basic information and operations. It teaches students how to work with icon and windows. It presents directories/ folders and working with files. It teaches students the orders of duplicate, move, delete and store. It introduces students to searching and compressing files and the types of viruses. It introduces print management.
