YANG Dongkai was born in 1972 and got his bachelor degree from North University of China in 1994.  He got his master degree and Ph.D degree in 1997 and 2000 separately from Beihang University. From January 2001 to November 2002, he worked in Nanyang Technological University of Singapore as research fellow, and from 2010, he worked in School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Beihang University as full professor.  His research interest is satellite navigation and its applications, i.e. GNSS-R.  Currently he is the senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, member of CPGPS, IEICE and is the editor of Chinese GPS magazine.

He was supported by the Beijing New –Star Plan in 2005.  In recent years, Dr. YANG got many national and ministry level projects and published around 35 academic papers indexed by SCI (E), EI and ISTP database.  He published 5 academic books, 9 invent patents and obtained three Provincial Science and Technology Awards.
