As part of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport's commitment to providing comprehensive support for international students residing on campus, the Cultural and Social Activities Department at the Abu Qir branch organized a distinguished recreational and cultural trip for a group of Tanzanian students. The trip was held under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abu El-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs. The trip aimed to introduce the students to the historical and cultural landmarks of Alexandria, including visits to the Citadel of Qaitbay and the Roman Museum, giving them an opportunity to explore the city's rich heritage. The trip also included lunch at a tourist resort, followed by recreational activities, which fostered a positive atmosphere and strengthened the sense of integration among the students. The participating students expressed their delight with the initiative, praising the excellent organization and the Academy's dedication to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for international students. This reflects the Academy's commitment to offering a holistic educational experience that extends beyond academics to encompass cultural and social aspects. This event is part of a series of activities organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs to support international students and enhance their integration into the university community, in line with the university's commitment to fostering a human and cultural understanding and promoting the values of diversity and openness.
