The Cultural and Social Activities Department in Abu Qir organized a recreational and educational activity for marine engineering students as part of Movie Night to promote communication and awareness on December 24, 2025.

The Cultural and Social Activities Department at Abu Qir Academy organized a series of special events for academy students, including a recreational activity called "Movie Night," as well as an introductory seminar on diving specifically for marine engineering students. The events took place in a lively and interactive atmosphere. Combining entertainment and education, the recreational activity offered students the opportunity to enjoy a unique film screening, while the introductory seminar provided valuable information about diving and its importance to marine engineering students. This fostered communication and participation among students and enhanced their practical and theoretical skills. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and with the support of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Assistant Dean. They emphasized the academy's commitment to supporting student activities and creating a balanced university environment that integrates academic, social, and recreational aspects. This activity is part of a series of events aimed at strengthening the students' human and social development and encouraging their active participation in university life, thereby contributing to honing their skills and cultivating a spirit of cooperation and belonging to the academic community.
