The Cultural and Social Activities Department at Miami University organized an "Arab Day" event as part of FAD Week at the College of Management and Technology on December 22, 2025.

The FAD Week activities continued for the second consecutive day at the College of Management and Technology, Miami Campus, of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. The Cultural and Social Activities Department in Miami, in collaboration with the Finance and Accounting Department, organized "Arab Day" on Monday, December 22, 2025. The event aimed to highlight the rich cultural diversity and heritage of the Arab world and to foster knowledge exchange among students. The event was led by Professor Dr. Rasha Al-Musallamani, Head of the Finance and Accounting Department, renowned for her excellence and creativity. She was supervised by Professor Dr. Omnia Abdel-Karim, Head of the French Management Department, Dr. Sherine El-Mahr, Dr. Heba Hamza, Dr. Omnia Adel, and Dr. Sarah Wahid, who added their distinctive touches to the event and elevated its level of creativity and uniqueness. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Samadisi, Vice Dean for Education; Professor Dr. Sherif Hassan, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Mohamed Abu Al-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Raef Adel Al-Faqi, Director of the Medical Clinics at the campus; and the clinic team, in recognition of their vital role in supporting students and cultural activities. The event witnessed broad participation from students of various nationalities. The Sudanese, Libyan, and Saudi communities presented diverse cultural performances, including traditional foods, heritage clothing, folk songs and dances, as well as a display of Upper Egyptian attire to promote local identity and heritage. The Academy affirmed that FAD Week events are part of its strategy to foster cultural diversity, a sense of belonging, and positive interaction among students. They also aim to provide students with practical and social experiences that contribute to developing their personal and cultural skills, in line with the vision of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, to support creativity and excellence in a stimulating educational environment.
