On Monday, November 11, 2025, the Cultural and Social Activities Department in Abu Qir organized an Orientation Day event for the TECH TEAM family at the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology to introduce new students to scientific activities and support their academic journey.

The Cultural and Social Activities Department at Abu Qir University organized an Orientation Day, implemented by the TECH TEAM student group at the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology. This event, held under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abu El-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, aimed to support new students at the start of the semester. The event introduced new students to the TECH TEAM, its mission, and its activities, which primarily focus on scientific and technological activities. It highlighted the group's role in supporting students' academic achievement, helping them overcome scientific challenges, and facilitating their understanding of the fundamentals and applications of computer science, thereby enhancing their scientific and practical skills. The Orientation Day included a comprehensive explanation of the group's various activities and how students can participate. It also emphasized the role of student activities in honing scientific and technical skills, fostering teamwork, and encouraging innovation and lifelong learning within the university environment. The Deanship of Student Affairs affirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful student activities that contribute to the academic and professional development of students, enhancing their ability to engage positively with the demands of their studies and the job market. The Deanship also commended the active role played by student families in this regard.
