As part of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport's commitment to supporting the educational process and integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience, the Cultural and Social Activities Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs – Abu Qir Campus organized the first student trip to the Grand Egyptian Museum following its official opening. The trip took place on Friday, November 7, 2025, with the participation of students from the College of Arts and Design. The visit was met with great enthusiasm and a large crowd, reflecting the local and international interest in the museum. The students expressed their awe at the grandeur of the museum and its unique collection of artifacts representing Egypt's civilization spanning thousands of years. The tour provided the students with a valuable opportunity to explore the architectural structures, the diverse textures of the artifacts, manuscripts, drawings, and colors, thus enhancing their creative imagination and directly supporting their academic studies.This visit comes in line with the directives of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, who consistently emphasizes providing students with comprehensive educational experiences through specialized field trips tailored to each college's field of study. This visit is part of the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs, headed by Professor Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abu El-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs, and supervised by Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs. The Cultural and Social Activities Department continues its effective collaboration with the various colleges of the Academy to provide high-quality activities that enrich the educational experience of our students. The Deanship of Student Affairs affirms its commitment to organizing events and visits that support students' skills and broaden their horizons, in line with the Academy's strategy of building an innovative generation that appreciates the value of civilization and heritage.
