The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Egyptian Handball Federation signed a cooperation and partnership agreement, aiming to exploit the academy's advanced capabilities to host the 2025 Republic Junior Handball Championship.
The agreement was signed today in the presence of Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, and Professor Khaled Fathi, President of the Egyptian Handball Federation. The signing ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mohamed Saad, Director of the Sports Marketing and External Relations Department at the Academy, Ms. Abeer Aqeel, Member of the Egyptian Handball Federation, and Mr. Ahmed Mahfouz, Legal Advisor.
Under this agreement, which was based on the Egyptian Handball Federation's desire to take advantage of the capabilities available at the academy, the academy will host the tournament during the period from August 30 to September 7, 2025.
Thus, the Academy becomes the official sponsor of the tournament on all promotional materials, in exchange for hosting the participating sports teams.
The agreement includes the academy hosting the sports teams participating in the Republic Championship for Al-Baraem Handball and its technical and administrative staff for a period of ten days, which is the duration of the tournament.
This cooperation comes in light of the Arab Academy's commitment to supporting Egyptian and Arab sports and providing an ideal environment for athletes.
