The media center of Nahdet Misr for Modern Environmental Services, one of the Arab Contractors companies responsible for public cleaning operations in the governorate, announced the support of the system with new screening equipment to combat marine waste. This is under the auspices of the Alexandria Governorate and within the framework of joint cooperation between Nahdet Misr Company, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the German Ministry of the Environment regarding the marine waste system. In light of the project to combat marine debris for sustainable development and the safe disposal of marine debris from beaches and hotels in Alexandria and to reduce single-use plastic consumption. The company, in cooperation with the Arab Academy, has begun the trial operation of the sand sieving and purification system from wastes, through the use of 2 new machines for sieving beach and hotel sands, in coordination with the Central Administration for Tourism and Resorts in Alexandria Governorate.
