In alignment with SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has launched the “Every Drop Counts” campaign to raise awareness among students and staff about responsible water use in laboratories and campus facilities.
Posters and awareness materials have been placed in teaching labs across different departments, reminding students to conserve water during experiments and everyday use. Faculty members also emphasized the importance of water efficiency, leak reporting, and sustainable lab practices during practical sessions.
The initiative reflects AASTMT’s continued commitment to integrating sustainability education and behavioral change into daily campus life, ensuring that every drop of water is used wisely to protect this vital resource for future generations.
