Several innovative projects aim to provide sustainable water solutions and promote resource efficiency. An automated mobile water treatment system utilizes solar-powered reverse osmosis to desalinate groundwater, producing 1.5–3 liters per minute, targeting remote arid regions in Egypt. Atmospheric water generators (AWG) extract water from air humidity through condensation, capable of producing 3 liters per hour, powered by wind turbines for sustainable energy use, and cater to residential, commercial, and other applications. Additionally, a micro aquaponic integrated system with a 400 kg/day capacity recycles nutrient-rich water from fish tanks for agricultural use, combining fish farming and plant cultivation to optimize water reuse.
