CEDARE was pleased to receive a visit from a group of students and teaching staff from the Faculty of Management and Technology at the @Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Cairo. The visit aimed at getting introduced to the Centre's contributions to support sustainable development regionally and nationally. The visitors were warmly welcomed by Dr. Nadia Makram Ebeid, Executive Director, Dr. Hossam Allam, Sustainable Growth Regional Director; Dr. Khaled AbuZeid, Water Resources Management Regional Director; and Dr. Omar El Badawy, Land Resources Management Regional Director. They highlighted #CEDARE CEDARE Programmes' activities in the #sustainable growth, land & #water_resources management areas, overviewed the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) and how to mitigate climate change. They also showcased the latest trends in the fields of #urban planning of #sustainable_cities, sustainable #smart_transportation, and #sustainable_tourism and CEDARE's leading role in executing various projects in these sectors.
