The department's students secured funding for 3 out of 5 submitted projects, amounting to approximately 200,000 Egyptian pounds. The winning graduation projects align with the nation's development plan and encompass a variety of innovative ideas, including:

  1. Solar water heater with a heat storage material: This project focuses on developing a more efficient solar water heating system.
  2. Intelligent robot for cleaning solar panels: This project aims to create an autonomous robot capable of maintaining solar panels.
  3. Design of eco-friendly nanomaterials for artificial and corrective joints: This project explores the development of sustainable nanomaterials for orthopedic applications.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport ranked first among private universities with 12 funded projects, while the Faculty of Engineering, South Valley Branch in Aswan, secured 4 projects.
