“Principals of Coastal Water Quality Characteristics (Polluted and non-Polluted) "

In the framework of scientific collaboration and student training between the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquaculture at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, along with maritime transportation centers and research institutions to enhance students' capabilities and elevate their scientific and practical competencies, and in an effort to reinforce the college's role in achieving sustainable development goals related to marine environmental preservation (marine life), the summer training program for male and female students of the college was successfully completed at the City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications - Environmental Research Institute and Natural Materials in Borg El Arab.

The training was conducted under the title 'Principles of Coastal Water Quality Characteristics (Polluted and non-Polluted)' from August 7th to 11th, 2022. The course included theoretical lectures and practical experiments within the laboratories of the City of Scientific Research and involved collecting samples for environmental study under the supervision of research members of the city and faculty members of the academy. Students conducted laboratory experiments using modern scientific equipment, studied proper scientific methods for obtaining marine coastal water samples, learned preservation techniques, and conducted chemical and biological analyses to assess pollution levels
