10.4.1 Proportion of students with disabilities

AASTMT is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible education for all students, including students with disabilities. The university has a number of policies and procedures in place to support students with disabilities, and it is continually working to improve its accessibility services. According to AASTMT's website, the university has a dedicated Disability Support Services (DSS) office that provides a range of services to students with disabilities, including Academic accommodations; Assistive technology; Counseling, and support services.  AASTMT also has a number of physical accessibility features, such as ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. The university is also committed to making its online learning materials accessible to all students.

AASTMT is working to raise awareness of its disability support services and to make its campus more accessible to all students. The university is also working to recruit more students with disabilities through its outreach and admissions programs.

AASTMT believes that all students, regardless of their abilities, deserve the opportunity to succeed in higher education. The university is committed to providing the support and resources that students with disabilities need to reach their full potential as this appears in the increase of disability students number.
