1. Introduction:

The training in “Energy Management, Strategy and Audit” was implemented
between the 20th and 24th of November in EUROTraining Educational
Organization’s headquarters, in Athens, Greece, delivered by Ph. D. candidate Mr.
Valantis Koutsikos.

The training started with an Introduction in Energy Systems that provided the
fundamentals for the next topic discussed, namely the Energy Management and
Strategy, in both European and international contexts. The following day
participants were introduced in Quality Assurance processes and got acquainted with
Energy Audit (ISO 50001). The last day of the in-class training was dedicated to
Energy Saving in Buildings, as well as various other sectors that provide successful
examples of efficient energy management. The training included, also, two days of
cultural visits in Athens, were participants had the opportunity to explore the history
of the city and experience the unique Athenian vibe.
