GreenOlive Project | Introducing Young Students to Solar Thermal Energy

As part of the GreenOlive Project’s activities to promote renewable energy awareness and sustainability, the Electrical and Control Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Technology, AASTMT – Abu Qir Main Campus, welcomed a group of primary school students for an engaging introduction to clean energy technologies.

During their visit to the Renewable Energy Laboratory, the students explored solar thermal systems and learned, through simple demonstrations, how solar energy can be used for water heating and other thermal applications, reducing reliance on conventional energy sources.

The activity reflects the GreenOlive Project’s commitment to raising awareness of renewable energy and sustainability among younger generations and inspiring students to explore green technologies and their role in building a more sustainable future.
