The LEAD-MENA Project Establish an innovative and sustainable educational hub

In line with efforts to strengthen academic–industry collaboration and support innovation in logistics and supply chain management, the LEAD-MENA Project aims to establish an innovative and sustainable educational hub that provides students and graduates with advanced opportunities for academic support, professional skills development, interactive activities, and applied collaborative projects.

The project focuses on integrating modern industrial practices into educational programmes, including sustainable packaging solutions, virtual and augmented reality technologies, logistics and supply chain software, and energy monitoring systems. Through this integration, the project seeks to connect universities, industry experts, and students in order to address complex challenges related to sustainability and innovation, while developing practical solutions applicable to real industrial environments.

The LEAD-MENA Project also promotes experiential learning through case studies, simulations, and real industry-based projects, with a particular focus on Egypt and Tunisia. This approach aims to enhance students’ employability by enabling them to propose innovative and effective solutions to real industrial challenges. In addition, the project supports multidisciplinary and international collaboration while fostering creative thinking, work ethics, and a global perspective.

The project targets the participation of more than 200 students and trainees, in addition to 20 to 30 academic staff members, ensuring the practical application of academic knowledge and maximizing its impact across the logistics and industrial sectors.
