The Arab Academy for Sciences,Technology and Maritime Transport participated as a partner in Cluster ACT project, the AASTMT represented by Entrepreneurship Center by holding training sessions for startups teams and was managed by specialized lecturers from the Entrepreneurship Center.

Cluster ACT (Aggregation and Collaboration Tools) is a project aimed to develop a mechanism for maritime clusters’ networking and collaboration with private investors to enhance innovation and business development in the Mediterranean maritime sector, specifically the three targeted sub-sectors of nautical activities, cruising and ports and marinas.

The project is funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) under the management of the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), an agency of the European Commission founded in 2003 to manage on its behalf several EU programmes in the fields of business support, innovation, environment, climate action, energy and maritime affairs. Its goal is to promote sustainable development while improving the competitiveness of European industries.
