The Launch of the First Session in the Postgraduate Studies Webinar Series at the College of Language and Communication – Smart Village

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the first session of the postgraduate studies webinar series at the College of Language and Communication – Smart Village was held. The session was organized by Prof. Nashwa Elyamany, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, under the title:
???? “Mastering Thesis Proposals: Core Elements and AI Companions for Research Writing.”

The first lecture was delivered by Prof. Abeer Ezzi, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs, who addressed the fundamental principles of preparing thesis proposals as well as the key challenges that researchers encounter in their initial stages.

Assoc. Prof. Sally Nassar, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, also presented a lecture on how to effectively employ AI tools in developing research writing, emphasizing the importance of integrating academic rigor with modern technologies to support researchers.

The session witnessed remarkable engagement from participants, both in the conference hall and via Zoom, with numerous questions and contributions that enriched the discussion and highlighted postgraduate students’ keen interest in adopting innovative tools in their academic journey.

This webinar comes as part of the commitment of the Vice Deanery for Postgraduate Studies and Research to enhance the competencies of postgraduate students and to provide them with the necessary tools for research excellence.
