The Latest Technological Advances in The Medical Field

On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the College of Pharmacy (Abu Qir branch), Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport hosted a specialized workshop that addressed the latest technological advances in the medical field. The workshop was organized in cooperation with a scientific group affiliated with the Bavarian Education Institute for Economics in Germany, highlighting modern innovations and technological applications that are creating a qualitative shift in the medical sector. The workshop activities included distinguished presentations presented by German experts from four leading companies in the field of medical technology under the title: “Digital health and telemedicine, medical solutions using 3D printing, innovative coatings for health facilities, and strategies for treating lymphoma”.

This workshop comes within the framework of the Academy’s efforts to enhance international cooperation, exchange experiences, and link Academy education with industry and modern technology, in addition to developing scientific research and innovative applications that contribute to the advancement of the medical sector and providing opportunities for direct interaction between students and experts from leading companies in the field of medical technology.
