الإعلامية نهاوند سرى فى فعالية Media Minds Talk

تحت رعاية الأستاذة الدكتورة عبير رفقي، عميدة كلية اللغة والإعلام بالإسكندرية، وإشراف عام الدكتورة بسنت محمد عطية، رئيس قسم الإعلام، نظم قسم الإعلام فعالية متميزة بعنوان “Media Minds Talk”، حيث تم استضافة الإعلامية نهوند سري، المذيعة التلفزيونية، التي قدمت جلسة تفاعلية ثرية مع الطلاب، استعرضت خلالها رحلتها المهنية في مجال الإعلام، والتحديات التي واجهتها منذ بدايتها وحتى وصولها إلى الشاشة.

وخلال اللقاء، أكدت على أهمية دور الإعلام في رفع الوعي المجتمعي، خاصة فيما يتعلق بقضايا الصحة النفسية، مشيرة إلى أن الإعلامي لا يقتصر دوره على نقل الأخبار فقط، بل يمتد ليكون مؤثرًا إيجابيًا في المجتمع.

كما قدّمت عددًا من النصائح المهمة لطلاب الإعلام، أبرزها ضرورة تطوير المهارات الشخصية، والاطلاع المستمر، والتدريب العملي، بالإضافة إلى أهمية الثقة بالنفس والقدرة على التواصل الفعّال مع الجمهور، وأوضحت أن النجاح في مجال التقديم التلفزيوني يتطلب مزيجًا من الشغف، والالتزام، والعمل الجاد، مؤكدة أن الطريق إلى الاحتراف يبدأ من استثمار الطالب لوقته خلال فترة الدراسة.

وشهدت الفعالية تفاعلًا كبيرًا من الطلاب، الذين حرصوا على طرح الأسئلة والاستفادة من الخبرات العملية التي شاركتها الضيفة، في أجواء تعليمية مميزة جمعت بين المعرفة والإلهام.

وتعد الإعلامية نهوند سري من أبرز الوجوه الإعلامية، حيث تعمل مذيعة تلفزيونية على قناة الأهلي، ومقدمة برامج إذاعية على ON Sport FM، كما تقدم بودكاست “ByLine”، ولها مسيرة مهنية مميزة في مجال الإعلام. وقد شاركت في تقديم البرنامج الصباحي “10 الصبح” على قناة الأهلي إلى جانب كريم كوجاك، كما قدّمت برنامج “صباح ON” على قناة ON TV لمدة خمس سنوات، وظهرت في فقرة “الهوانم” ضمن برنامج “كل يوم” مع عمرو أديب، قبل أن تنضم إلى برنامج “الحياة اليوم” على قناة الحياة عام 2018.

ويأتي تنظيم هذه الفعالية في إطار مشروع التخرج “خطوة بدري”، والذي يُقام تحت إشراف أ/ أهلة طارق، أ/ نورهان الشربيني، أ/ بيتر جورج، أ/ ندى نونو، بمشاركة مجموعة من طلاب القسم، وهم: شهد علي، رقية حمادة، سجى عادل، عمر بدر، يوسف عادل، يوسف جابر، زينة أشرف، ملك أحمد، حبيبة محمد.

Under the patronage of Prof. Abeer Refky, Dean of the College of Language and Communication in Alexandria, and the general supervision of Dr. Bassant Mohamed Attia, Head of the Media Department, the Media Department organized a distinguished event titled “Media Minds Talk.” The event featured television presenter Nahawand Serry, who delivered an engaging and interactive session with students, sharing her professional journey in the media industry and discussing the challenges she faced from the beginning of her career until becoming a prominent television personality.

During the session, Nahawand Serry emphasized the vital role of media in raising public awareness, particularly regarding mental health issues. She noted that the role of media professionals extends beyond simply reporting the news, as they also have the responsibility to serve as positive influencers within society.

She also provided Media Department students with valuable advice, highlighting the importance of developing personal skills, staying informed through continuous learning, and gaining practical experience through training. In addition, she stressed the significance of self-confidence and effective communication with audiences. She explained that success in television presenting requires a combination of passion, commitment, and hard work, emphasizing that the path to professionalism begins with making the most of one’s time during university studies.

The event witnessed strong student engagement, with attendees actively participating in discussions, asking questions, and benefiting from the practical experiences and insights shared by the guest speaker. The session created an inspiring educational environment that combined knowledge, professional guidance, and motivation.

Nehond Serry is considered one of Egypt’s prominent media figures. She currently works as a television presenter on Al Ahly TV and hosts radio programs on ON Sport FM. She also presents the podcast “ByLine” and has built a distinguished career in media. Throughout her career, she co-hosted the morning show “10 El Sobh” on Al Ahly TV alongside Karim Kojak, presented “Sabah ON” on ON TV for five years, appeared in the “El Hawanem” segment of “Kol Youm” with Amr Adeeb, and later joined the program “Al Hayah Al Youm” on Al Hayah TV in 2018.

This event was organized as part of the graduation project “Khatwa Badri”, under the supervision of Ms. Ahella Tarek, Ms. Nourhan El-Sherbiny, Mr. Peter George, and Ms. Nada Nono.
