في مشهد احتفالي يعكس روح الإنجاز والتميز، نظمت كلية اللغة والإعلام بالمقر الرئيسي بالإسكندرية، احتفالية مميزة تحت رعاية عميدة الكلية الأستاذة الدكتورة عبير رفقي، وبحضور أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وذلك تكريمًا لعدد من كوادر الكلية تقديرًا لإنجازاتهم العلمية وترقياتهم الأكاديمية.
وشهدت الاحتفالية تكريم الأستاذة الدكتورة إيمان محفوظ، وكيل الكلية لشؤون التعليم، بمناسبة حصولها على درجة الأستاذية في اللغويات، كما تم تكريم الدكتورة سارة يحيى، رئيس قسم الإنسانيات، لترقيتها إلى درجة أستاذ مساعد في اللغويات التطبيقية.
كما احتفت الكلية بالدكتورة ليلى أحمد لحصولها على درجة الدكتوراه في الترجمة، وبالأستاذ بيتر جورج لنيله درجة الماجستير في الأدب والفيلم، وسط أجواء من التقدير والاعتزاز بما حققوه من إنجازات أكاديمية متميزة.
ويعكس هذا التكريم روح التعاون والدعم التي تسود داخل الكلية، وحرصها المستمر على تعزيز البحث العلمي وتشجيع التطور الأكاديمي باعتباره ركيزة أساسية للتقدم والتميز.
In a celebratory scene reflecting a spirit of achievement and excellence, the College of Language and Communication – Alexandria Headquarters organized a distinguished ceremony under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Abeer Refky, and in the presence of faculty members. The event honored a number of the college’s staff in recognition of their academic achievements and promotions.
The ceremony included honoring Professor Dr. Iman Mahfouz, Vice Dean for Education Affairs, on the occasion of her promotion to the rank of Professor in Linguistics. Dr. Sara Yehia, Head of the Humanities Department, was also honored for her promotion to Associate Professor in Applied Linguistics.
The college additionally celebrated Dr. Laila Ahmed for obtaining her PhD in Translation, and Mr. Peter George for earning his Master’s degree in Literature and Film, in an atmosphere filled with appreciation and pride in their outstanding academic accomplishments.
This recognition reflects the spirit of cooperation and support that prevails within the college, as well as its ongoing commitment to promoting scientific research and encouraging academic development as a fundamental pillar of progress and excellence.
