The TV program "Layali Al Shams", broadcast on Al Shams Channel, hosted students Iman Abdel Gawad, Farida Sedik, Nour Hesham, and Rehab Rizk—fourth-year Media Department students—who appeared to discuss their graduation campaign “Digi Devils.” The project is held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abeer Refky, Dean of the College of Language and Communication – Alexandria HQ Campus, and general supervision of Dr. Bassant Attia, Head of the Media Department.
During the interview, the students spoke about their campaign “Digi Devils,” which aimed to raise awareness about cybercrimes, including human trafficking via the internet, deepfake technology, digital drugs, cyber harassment, and hacking. They explained that the team carried out a wide range of activities to spread awareness, including school workshops, the creation of educational infographics, social media content, the production of a docudrama short film, as well as short ads and engaging reels.
The campaign stood out for its creative tools and clear messaging, helping it reach a wide audience. It received strong public support due to the relevance of the issues tackled and the professionalism in its execution.
The campaign was supervised by Dr. Shedwan Sheba, Ms. Nourhan ElSherbiny, and Mr. Mohamed Belal.
