Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, represented by the College of Maritime Transport and Technology, and the University of Applied Sciences, represented by the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Emden-Lehr, Germany, and as part of the scientific cooperation protocol, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) 
As part of the same collaboration, the College of Maritime Transport and Technology hosted Professor Frederick Meyer, Professor of Mechanical Engineering from Emden Leer University, from May 8 to May 15, to give lectures on new types of clean fuels used in ships.
